The event is designed for girls ages 4 to 12 with no hockey experience to hit the ice in a positive environment, in an effort to try the game of ice hockey. Full hockey equipment is provided for each participant, and on ice instruction is provided by some of the top girls ice hockey coaches, along with assistance from local female players from various organizations.
