THEATER | Shake on the Lake's 'Richard III' 

The rural-based theater company Shake on the Lake is making its Rochester debut with a performance of "Richard III." Based in Silver Lake, New York, the professional Shakespeare touring company is known for fun, fast, physical theatrical performances that feature live music, improvised comedy, and 360-degree staging. The classic play will be performed by six actors, and the show runs less than 90 minutes without an intermission. The performance is in conjunction with the Landmark Society's Performances at Historic Sites Series.

Shake on the Lake will perform "Richard III" on Monday, August 6, at St. Joseph's Park, 118 Pleasant Street. 6:30 p.m. Free. In the event of rain, visit the Facebook pages of the Landmark Society or Shake on the Lake. shakeonthelake.org.
