The history of public transit will be brought to life with electric trolley rides, slide talks on the Rochester Subway, and special access to buses and trolleys. Trolley rides depart throughout the day every 30 minutes beginning at 11:30 a.m. The 20-minute trip through scenic rural fields and woods recreates the “interurban era” of a century ago when high-speed trolleys traveled long distances from Rochester to Syracuse, Buffalo and Geneva.
