This class is geared towards people who are ready to venture beyond the normal drive/fly, hotel/restaurant vacation and would like to explore budget transportation and lodging. Budget travel can be a great way of directing your resources to the actual experience instead of logistics. We will look at free/low-cost accommodations options such as CouchSurfing, hostels, and AirBnB and explore alternative transportation modes such as train, inter- and intracity bus, and subway. The presenter will share her experience with budget travel and will encourage the attendees to add their insights.
