Trio East, comprised of bassist Jeff Campbell, Clay Jenkins on trumpet, and drummer Rich Thompson, are faculty members at the Eastman School of Music with collective histories that include performing with jazz greats all over the world, such as Marian McPartland, Stan Kenton, and the orchestras of Harry James and Count Basie, and appearances at jazz festivals in Nice, Montreux, and Rochester.
