UMI Japanese Steakhouse & Sushi Bar

There’s kind of a neon Vegas-y feel to Umi, a sleek and expansive Japanese restaurant that does both the sushi and hibachi things in the plaza across the street from Eastview Mall. The menu runs the gamut from classic sushi-bar appetizers to high-end hibachi combos, stopping off for bento boxes, sashimi, noodle soups, as well as maki both traditional and inspired.
