This week's calls to action include the following events and activities. All are free and open to the public, unless otherwise noted.

Climate group to meet

CitizensClimateLobby.org's Rochester chapter will meet at 7 p.m. on Monday, August 17. The nonprofit, nonpartisan advocacy group is promoting policies that address climate change. The event will be held at First Unitarian Church, 220 South Winton Road.

Mothers for renewable energy

Mothers Out Front will meet from 4 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. on Sunday, August 16, to organize and discuss how to mobilize for a transition from fossil fuels to clean renewables. The meeting will be held at a member's home in the Corn Hill neighborhood. Please RSVP Margaret for the exact location: [email protected].
