March is maple time in Western New York, a sure sign of spring on its way. Each Wednesday in March, Helmer Nature Center will guide visitors through their maple sugaring process, “from tree to table,” that will end with a sample of their signature syrup. Throughout the day, these group outings (of about 10-15 people) will each run about 45 minutes – enough time to get some fresh air and a taste of the good stuff. Bring a mask. Registration is required.
