Proposals are due on Friday, September 9, for
Parcel 5 on the Midtown site downtown. That’s also the day that
a grassroots group says that it will submit plans to keep part of the parcel as green space.
Ideas previously mentioned for Parcel 5 are a casino run by the
Seneca Nation of Indians, and a performing arts center.
A committee will review, evaluate, and rank all proposals received and then make a recommendation to Rochester Mayor Lovely Warren and City Council.
