Session 1 (June 19, 9-10:30am): "People Work: The Critical Tasks of Workforce Management," presented by Rob Kropczynski, Complete Payroll. This session will discuss hiring practices and identify essential steps and best practices for an effective hiring process. We will also discuss progressive discipline and how it can be used to deal with employee performance issues and policy violations. We’ll also review some legal issues employers may encounter with respect to terminations. Session 2 (July 17, 9-10:30am): "Managing Four Generations in the Workplace," presented by Greg Lindberg, SBA. Multiple generations of workers are currently in the workplace and they all have different working styles. In this program participants will learn and understand the differences in generations and how managers and business owners can leverage these differences for increased effectiveness. Session 3 (August 14, 9-10:30am): "Creating a Positive Working Environment," presented by Greg Lindberg, SBA. Creating a positive working environment is imperative to the success of all businesses big and small. Employees who are happy and engaged produce double the output of employees who are not. This program will teach you ways to create a positive environment and keep your employees performing at a high level.
