WORLD/REGGAE | The Buddhahood 

After vowing to keep on keeping on after its leader, Tony Cavagnaro, died in 2007, world-beat masters The Buddhahood has been a band in flux, with some members coming and others going, thus augmenting the sound slightly. The band has since worked out the kinks and beefed up the reggae with some brassy funk. It now sounds as powerful as ever. This has them blowing hot. Tony made them cool.
