YOU NAME IT | Record Store Day 2018 

It's the most wonderful time of the year: The smell of vinyl and anticipation is thick in the air, food trucks are offering up street meat, and record labels and artists release rare, limited run records just for the fans and collectors. There is a ton of live music scheduled as well. Dig it. Record Store Day happens Saturday, April 21. Reach out to your go-to store for more details.

The Record Archive (33 1/3 Rockwood Street): Opens at 9 a.m.; music starts at noon with Hanna and the Blue Hearts, Hop City Hellcats, The Krooks, and Mikaela Davis. 244-1210;

Bop Shop Records (1460 Monroe Avenue): Opens at 9 a.m.; music starts at 11 a.m. with DJs Danny Deutsch, Greg Townson, M.D.G., and Jimmy Filingeri. 271-3354;

The House of Guitars (645 Titus Avenue): Opens at 9 a.m.; music starts at 10 a.m. with Tombstone Hands, Ponder, The Fender Benders, One On One Band, Kevin B. Klein, Hankerin' Henry, Chris United, Kire Najdovski, Jason Dodson Band, and Cessation. 544-3500;
