St. John’s invites the Rochester community to join a morning of discussion with storyteller Meg LaPorte of Age In America, a national blog dedicated to chronicling lives, challenging stereotypes and changing perceptions. At the event, LaPorte will explore the question: Can storytelling help reframe perspectives on aging? She’ll discuss how her work sharing stories of older adults in unique ways helps dispel misconceptions on aging. The presentation will give insights into her storytelling process and help attendees share their own personal stories more effectively. Registration for the event is required.
