The Penfield Trails Committee will sponsor a free public hike at the Genesee Land Trust’s Hipp Brook Preserve. The hike will start at the west end of Brougham Dr. (Brougham Dr. is off Jackson Rd. south of Atlantic Ave.) The trail displays some unusual fall wild flowers, white turtle head and blue gentian. It is an easy path through a wet woodland, and will last about 30 minutes.
