Through food, performances and a look at our shared history, Genesee Country Village & Museum salutes our German ancestors with German Day. The museum boasts two German homes, the two-story log Martin Kieffer home and the log cabin home of the Hetchlers where visitors will find activities focused on the early settlements. Visitors will be able to sample German foods, see German folk dancing and engage in traditional German crafts.
